# Customise the checkout of a Funeli funnel

> Choose how Funeli opens checkout, edit the checkout sheet title, plan card and footer, and add trust blocks above and below the Paddle payment form.

Checkout in Funeli is part of the funnel, not a redirect to a separate page. The provider's payment form opens inside the funnel, and you can add your own content around it to answer the last questions a buyer has.

## Checkout mode

In the funnel's **Settings**, **Payments** section, choose the **Paddle checkout mode**:

| Mode | What the buyer sees |
| - | - |
| **Overlay** | Paddle opens its own secure overlay |
| **Inline** | The Paddle form is embedded inside the Funeli checkout sheet, with your content around it |
| **Express (wallet-first)** | The embedded form with wallet buttons first |

The checkout sheet settings below apply to the embedded modes.

## The checkout sheet

Select the paywall step in the editor to change its checkout sheet:

* the sheet **title**;
* whether the built-in **plan card** is shown, and where;
* the **footer**, or no footer;
* up to 10 components **above** the payment form and up to 10 **below** it, such as reviews, guarantees, trust badges or FAQs.

The payment form itself is fixed and cannot be removed. Do not add a plan selector or a checkout button inside the sheet: checkout is already open for the selected plan.

## Paywall requirements

A paywall needs a plan selector, a checkout button and legal text with the plan terms, including the trial and renewal disclosure. Validation reports a paywall that lacks them.
