# Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Funeli over MCP

> Add the Funeli MCP server to ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code or Cursor with OAuth sign-in or a personal access token, then check the connection.

Funeli exposes every funnel operation as MCP tools at `https://app.funeli.top/mcp`. An agent connected to this server acts as you, inside one Workspace that you approve. Connect with OAuth sign-in when the client supports it; use a personal access token for clients that only accept a URL and headers.

## ChatGPT

**1. Create the app**

In ChatGPT, open **Plugins**, choose **Add**, then **Create MCP App**. Name it `Funeli` and enter the server URL `https://app.funeli.top/mcp`.

**2. Choose OAuth**

Select **OAuth** as the authentication. In the advanced OAuth settings, turn on **Dynamic Client Registration (DCR)**. No client ID or secret is needed.

**3. Sign in to Funeli**

Confirm the warning, choose **Create**, then **Continue to Funeli**. Sign in, choose the Workspace and allow access.

**4. Use it in a chat**

Select Funeli in the chat's plugins and ask for something, for example "list my funnels".

## Claude Team and Enterprise

An Owner adds the connector once for the whole organization:

1. Open **Organization settings**, then **Connectors**, and choose **Add**, **Custom**, **Web**.
2. Name it `Funeli`, enter `https://app.funeli.top/mcp`, keep OAuth sign-in on and choose **Register automatically** for the OAuth client.

Each member then opens **Customize**, then **Connectors**, clicks **Connect** on Funeli, signs in to Funeli, picks a Workspace and approves access. The connector acts only as that member, in the approved Workspace.

## Claude Free, Pro and Max

Individual Claude plans connect with a personal access token:

1. In Funeli, open **Account**, then **Agent access**, and create a personal access token.
2. In Claude, open **Customize**, then **Connectors**, and choose **Add custom connector**.
3. Enter `https://app.funeli.top/mcp`, choose **No sign in**, and add the request header `Authorization: Bearer <PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN>`.

## Claude Code

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http funeli https://app.funeli.top/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer <PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN>"
```

## Cursor and other clients

Clients that take a URL and headers, such as Cursor (`~/.cursor/mcp.json`), use the same token:

```json theme={null}
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "funeli": {
      "url": "https://app.funeli.top/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN>" }
    }
  }
}
```

> [!WARNING]
>
> A personal access token acts as you. Do not share it or install it as a team-wide connector. Revoke a leaked token in **Account**, **Agent access**.

## Check the connection

Ask the agent "who am I in Funeli and which funnels do I have?". It calls `whoami` and `list_funnels` and answers with your Workspace, the current project and the funnel list.

If your Workspace has several projects, the agent asks which one to work in before it changes anything. Each connection remembers its own current project.

## Access and revoking

* OAuth access refreshes automatically and lasts up to 30 days; after that, connect again.
* To work in another Workspace, connect again and choose it.
* Revoke OAuth connections in **Account**, **Agent access**, under **Connected applications**. OAuth connections and personal access tokens are independent: revoking one does not affect the other.

## When a new tool is missing

Clients keep the tool list they loaded when you added the connector. After Funeli adds tools, refresh the connector (in ChatGPT, press **Refresh** on the app; in Claude, reconnect) to load the new list.
